The Swan (Kemp Town)

By in Restaurants

We popped over to The Swan in Brighton’s Kemp Town for two reasons:

Firstly so few people seem to have heard of it, and if you’re in the thick of the city centre for a weekend, you might want a haven a short walk left along the seafront to find a chair and a drink.

Secondly, their wine prices are very good, with very little mark up on the bottles, so there’s value to be had right across the list.

Its not all wine in there. The food is good (antipasti boards, thai mussels and duck confit scoring well on last visit) and an impressive drinks list including a Chilli Vodka.

Here I have picked the easy drinking Spanish House white – one of the few left in the South East at just £9 on the list.
