Working a Wine Wednesday at the Pop Up Restaurant Residence is hard work. You don’t eat and they pay you with booze.
As a result my credibility is called into question in this video as I struggle to find a link to a story about a Greek Wine winning a women only wine tasting competition, amid a room of over-excited, drunk diners.
The Greek wine we opened on the night wasn’t bad: it drew mixed reviews, as did my shirt.
But give the Greek some time to grow: people would have been similarly apprehensive about wine from Portugal until a few years ago.
If you know of any good examples of Greek wine, let me know and I’ll get it in and swill it down.
